Moodie's Bakery has been a fixture on Queen Street since the 1920s. The current incarnation of Moodie's bakery is reviving many of the old recipes that 'old timers' may remember well. Apparently a safe on the premises was opened and revealed a number of recipes from when Moodie's was the best bakery around. Today's Moodie's mixes these old favourites with a selection of newer fare - after all, times have changed and the new Queent Street combines both the new and the old. If you visit Queen Street make sure yo visit the bakery for a selection of cookies, cakes, pies, brownies, breads.... |
